December Technique Hop

Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop! This month there are 7 of us highlighting the “Stitching” Technique as shown in the Fall/Winter 2012 Idea Book! If you are coming from Joy's Blog, you are on the right track!I created this saddle stitched card, inspired by Pinterest and the Dakota Paper. 

I cut a section of chocolate paper and laid it over a Daisy White card. I used the cricut to cut the black  frame. I added two gold big brads and the patch from the Wrangler Assortment. 

Lastly I used the piercing tool to create the holes and waxy flax to sew around the edges. I won't lie, it took forever.
