Gen Con Comicbook Layout 2

    Layout Dimensions:
    2 Sheets of Black
    Comics Paper: 2 x 12, 4 ½ x 12, ½ x 12
    Red B&T Paper: 2 ½ x 7, ½ x 7, 4 x 12
    Sky C.S: 6 x 4 (Qty 3), 2 x 5
    Pacifica: 5 x 7, 5 x 5
    Title: 2 ½ x 6 ½ Daisy White
    Journal: 4 ½ x 4 ½
    Accent: 2 ½ x 5  
    Photos: 3 ½ x 5 ½ (Qty 3, 1 horizontal), 3 1/2 x 3 ½ (Qty 4)

    1. Use the above cutting diagrams (references: on page 67 of Imagine™)
    2. Stamp title with Sky ink; stamp border image below title with Cranberry ink.
    3. Stamp large star image with Black ink on 2 1/2" × 4" White Daisy accent; trim in half vertically.
    4. Stamp border image on each three times with Sky ink.
    5. Sponge surface of two small Dimensional Elements stars or Cricut cut starts with Cranberry ink.
    6. Sponge photos, base pages, all pattern pieces, and cut-out star with Black ink.
    7. Add journaling.
    8. Assemble layout according to pattern in Imagine on page 66.
    9. Attach cut-out star and embellishments.

      Gen Con Comicbook Layout 1

      Layout Dimensions:
      2 Sheets of Moonstruck
      2 Zipstrips trimed to 11"
      Blue Power B&T 4 x 11 (Qty 2)
      Comics B&T 2 x 11 (Qty 2)
      Moonstruck B&T 3 1/2 x 11 (Qty 2)
      Banners: 10 x 1 1/2 Daisy White, 7 x 1 1/2 Cranberry
      Stars: X-Large 3", Large 2" Qty 2, Med 1 1/2" Qty 2
      Title: 7 x 2 trimmed Moonstruck
      Photos: 3 x 3 (Qty 3), 3 1/2 x 5 (Qty 2), 4 x 6

      1. Sand or Edge Distress the paper pieces alone with the Cricut cut stars
      2. Cut the title pieces into banner shapes and add line outlines just inside the edge
      3. Assemble Layout
      4. Add title with 3D foam tape
      5. Add Journaling and  photos
      6. Using the Popsicle stick, apply rubs-ons
      7. Add buttons on layout
      8. Last, add the brads.

      Gen Con Realistic Flowers

      Start with Three 4" cut white flowers from the Cricut. 
      Sponge the middle with Sunflower, Creme Brulee, or Honey Ink. 
      Spray them with pearl paint (optional) and water (to help soften the paper). Once wet, crumble into a ball.
       Un-crumble slightly leaving a unique form. Do not un-crumble flat.
       Repeat with all 3 flowers. Allow to COMPLETELY dry.
      Cut 3 - 7 middle flowers at 2". 
      Spray them while on the mat with desert sand. (optional)
       Place a brad in the middle of all the small flowers. Spray with water as needed.
       Starting with each layer, pull up the petals and squeeze together.
      Continue doing each layer until all are pulled up. Then slightly squish the petal down.
      Add liquid glass to the middle of the large flowers and attach one another then attach the small yellow center.
      Last, using the liquid applique, outline ONLY the edges of the white petals in a thin even line.

       Apply heat from a heat gun. this will set the liquid applique while also puffing it out.
      Repeat as many times as necessary.
      To create the leaves, cut them on the Cricut. Use a stylus to emboss the veins on the leaves. 
      Flip the paper over and directly rub it along the ink pad (Ponderous Pine or New England Ivy). Distress edges. Spray with water and crumble. Un-crumble slightly and allow to dry completely.
      Add to Sprayed Mat and Card Base. Attach pearls and the matching Cricut Stem in Chocolate.

      Card #1
      Stamp Superman in black and color in with marker or watercolor brush. Trim
      Attach blue B&T paper to bottom half of card base. Stamp city in grey or 2nd generation black at the top. Add the zipstrip to the middle
      Attach 2 black button brads to the lower right corner. Add Superhero with 3D foam tape. Below is another variation:

      Card #2

      Stamp in Crème Brulee the exclamation bubble. Stamp the “wow” in Black Ink on top. Trim. 
      Assemble card. Attach sentiment with 3D foam. Thread buttons with waxy flax and attach the buttons to the card using glue dots.
      Card #3

      Use the corner rounded to round the corners of your B&T Papers. Sand the pieces.

      Stamp the Zoom in crème brulee and then only half in red ink. Stamp on the bubble.
      Assemble Card. Add glitter buttons with dots at the bottom. 
      Add Glitz Gel around the edges of the Zoom Bubble.

      Gen Con Steampunk Cardmaking

      Card #1
      Distress the edges and about 1” in from edge of card in bamboo. Ink the middle with twilight
      Stamp clock in lower left corner with chocolate. Stamp some gears on the inside of your clock in chocolate with 1st and 2nd generation stamping.
      Roll and distress the flowers in whisper ink. Using a colonial white brad add the gray flowers to the orange paper flower.
      Stamp final flourish on bottom right in chocolate.
      Attach rolled flowers and paper flower. (small orange flower folded in half).
      Stamp sentiment in Slate in the upper left corner.
      Attach your balloon using 3D foam tape.
      Card #2
      Stamp sentiments on colonial white in bamboo, covering entire surface. 
       Distress in Bamboo
      Stamp Clock and hands in desert sand. Distress in Bamboo
      Distress Twilight Card Base in Bamboo Ink then attach the colonial white paper you stamped on top of this and center. Attach Gears. Stamp Banner in Chocolate. Add Clock & Banner with 3D foam tape.
      Add brads to the gears and clocks, then add Glitz Gel to corners.
      Card #3
      Distress the lower right corner in cocoa or black ink.
      Distress the upper left ccorner in goldrush ink as well as the edge of the card.
      Edge Distress the Kraft paper, then ink distress in cocoa. Stamp sentiment in cocoa on the Kraft Paper.
      Mulit-ink your stamp up with crème brulee (middle), goldrush (wings) and twilight (edges) or butterfly. Stamp on die-cut. 
      Stamp gears in upper and lower corners of card.
      Distress center of clock face with bamboo and edges with goldrush. Assemble with black button brad.
      Assemble card. Add ribbon to the back  of the kraft paper using 3D foam tape. Attach Clock and Butterfly with 3D foam tape. Add Metal tag and ribbon bow. (optional add sparkles)
