Day 3 at Convention 2012

Shirley joined us for General Session the next day where we had an emotional morning.
Starting with the exciting news that Kelly would be doing the Operation Smile 30 yr anniversary survey tour in Philippians for raising donations for them. Congrats Kelly!

Then we had wonderful speaker Stacy Jullian (ch sp). An emotional and stirring class and talk. Take the time to breathe in your moment, live it, experience it, remember it. She taight us that you don't always need a camera, that you don't have to scrap in order, to let go of the guilt and obligation, to enjoy and cherish those memories that make up our lives and then portray that and not all the "stuff". We are best qualified to tell our own story and no one else will tell it for us. So focus on those aspects when scrapbooking.

We all received a free class to share with EVERYONE! You'll complete a 6x6 mini album and re-discover scrapbooking in a new way. Use coupon code CTMH on here website to start today:

After a terrific finish to Stacy's talk we needed a little laughter so we had fun taking silly group pictures.

Meghan found a sticky boy under the outfits!!
Then we headed over to vote for the album contest and check out the gorgeous art from the current and new idea book. Amazing seeing it all in person. And then Amanda found a sticky boy too!!!!
Brian's afternoon class for studio j was exillerating. Especially when Monica knocked David off his chair. LOL. The Studio J business class by Brian Holman went into depth on the changes and updates happening with Studio J, including the new Express Collections which allow you to say you had a professional artist create your layouts. Not only do these layouts give you “sumthin’ to crow about,” all Studio J orders can now count toward Hostess Rewards! Also, your hostess can now select Studio J layouts as a Hostess Reward because they’ve seen added to the select product list.
After all the classes and crops for the day we got ready for the awards banquet. Here I am with my beautiful roommates!
Here are the ladies I sat with and had a fantastic time watching the Texas Tenors. Not quite my type of music but they did a fantastic job.

My Dinner

Karen Pedersen earned the Spirit of CTMH award and was completely well deserved!!
