In this card I created the stamped accents using the August Stamp Of The Month and topped the image with liquid glass and re-inker. In some cases I put the liquid glass down first and added tiny bits of reinker to the top and in others I mixed the re-inker with the liquid glass, applied it, and then before dry ran my stylus through it to create texture and shape. I then finished the card with our new bling! The Alphabet stamp is the Free August Constant Campaign stamp you receive when purchasing the Aug SOTM for only $5.

Other ideas to use with liquid glass include creating the appearance of broken glass as seen in this card. View complete instructions below.

Thanks for stopping by! Please continue onto Tonya's Blog where you will find some additional artwork highlighting this technique! Be sure to leave a
comment and let me know what you thought of my variation and happy hopping!

Supplies Needed for Card with Broken Glass Cami:
Typeset Level 2 Paper Pack
Juniper Brads
Chipboard Florish
Sweet Memories Stamp Set
Love Life Stamp Set
Creme Brulee Ink
Juniper Ink
Liquid Glass
Sanding Kit

Dimensions: Creme Brulee Base 10 x 7 folded. A: 1 1/2 Numbers B&T B: 2x2 Creme Brulee C: 1 1/2 x 2 Letters B&T (Qty 2). Border pieces from B&T top.

Start by sanding all the Typeset pieces of paper including the card base.

Then stamp in creme brulee the flourish from the Love Life stamp set in a random pattern. Trim pieces C down into triangles.

Adhere the pieces together then add the juniper brads to the ends of the triangles.

Ink up the chipboard with juniper and add to the card. Trim down B&T border pieces into words and attach with 3D foam tape.

For the cameo stamp image from Sweet Memories stamp set and trim. Apply liquid glass completely to the inside of the image. Allow to dry over night. Once dry put in freezer. After several hours remove and immediately crack the glass. If you wait until it warms up it will not crack (which only takes a few seconds).

Lastly add ink to the image where the cracks are to emphasis it. Add to the card using 3D foam tape.
